WHAT THE EXPERTS SAY

"ROAD TESTED"

MOTORCYCLE RIDERS CLUB OF AMERICA, September/October 2008

"The Adaptive-Tec gloves performed to their claims by keeping my hands warm in the cool of the morning and cooler in warmer riding."

Stephen Hoofer, Indianapolis, IN

"These gloves are very comfortable, fit very well, the flare is big enough for my jacket sleeve and they look great."

Doug Palm, Maplewood, MN

"...good gloves."

Rider, August 2008

"WINNER:  2007 Motorcycle Product of the Year award

"...gloves have a comfort range of 45-85 °F., and we think that's right on the money. The late summer/early fall weather we've been experiencing lately suits these gloves perfectly, as a recent 50-degree morning ride  with 80-degree afternoon temperatures has recently demonstrated.

"The gloves are nicely styled; not too racer-ish yet not too bland.

"The fingers are rather a work of art; they're constructed using the "box" style, with internal stitching. Each finger made from four pieces of leather, which is very hard to do, very hard to do correctly, time-consuming and expensive! The thumb is made from two sections.

"Another nice feature of these gloves is the dual closure system. The gauntlet is adequately sized also...and I have no problem fitting it over any of the motorcycle jacket sleeves I've tried.

"Conclusion: ...comfortable, well made and, based on our experience, cover the 45- to 85-degree temperature range almost perfectly. The gloves retail for $69.90, which seems a reasonable price for the quality and the Outlast technology."

"The SF805, featuring the same temperature sensing materials as the (Multi-Season Adaptive-Tec) jacket, had me covered for an ambient temperature range of 45 to 85 degrees, basically SoCal's spread.

"...a padded palm, reflective sections all add up to a sense that these gloves have a firm grip on security. Even new they didn't feel stiff, and afforded good dexterity of motion. As for style, I like the tec look and the contrasting white stitching. They seem reasonably priced..."
