1. Apply gauge to the valve stem. Press down evenly making sure it is correctly aligned so that air does not escape from the tire stem-within a few seconds the tire pressure will be displayed.

2. Remove gauge from valve stem-gauge will hold the reading for approximately 7 seconds and then shut off automatically.

3. Additional readings can be taken without having to wait for the display to go off.

4. The gauge is a precision electronic instrument and from time to time it is advisable to check the zero setting especially at extreme hot or cold temperatures. To check the zero setting: Briefly press the gauge onto the tire valve. It is not necessary for a good seal to be made. Only a small amount of air must enter the gauge to zero set the unit. Promptly remove gauge from the valve stem when display shows “00.0”. Your ROADGEAR gauge has now been recalibrated.
