CAUTION: Any luggage item that is not properly secured can become a distraction to the rider, resulting in a lack of concentration and a potentially hazardous situation. A loose tail bag drawn into the wheel can cause serious injury or death.

We recommend that once installation is completed, you make a test run at a low speed to ensure that the bag has not shifted around.

The bags have four retractable bungees at the base with removable hooks at the ends. Attach the hooks under the seat, fender or other secure area. If your bike comes with luggage mounting hooks, you can attach the bungees directly onto the bike hooks, with or without the removable hooks at the bungee ends. Never secure them to any moving part. Be certain that the cords have sufficient tension to hold the bag securely. If they are loose, adjust the cords by tying knots at the cord ends inside the bag. When carrying the bags off the bike, fold the hooks out of the way into the pocket at the bottom of the bag.

The optional rain cover must fit securely over the bag. Be sure to dry the cover before storing to prevent mildew. Be certain to detach the shoulder strap (optional item for the tail bags, included with the Euro-Hauler) so that it does not hang loose.
